Access Statement for The Gables Cottage and the Art Studio

PARKING
Is available on site and is a level 26m walk on concrete hardstanding, to the cottage door, Guests using the studio may drive up to the door of the studio, from where there is a wheelchair access, or park and walk up a small slope to the entrance door.

ACCESS TO THE COTTAGE
There is a 6” step to the front entrance and a 4.5” step to the garden area. There are no handrails at present.

KITCHEN
The kitchen/dining area has seating for 6 people, and the sink taps are levers

On the first floor:
3 BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, so you will need to step into the bath to shower, a w.c and a basin. The taps are old-fashioned turning four-knob, separate hot and cold.

There are no glass doors or full-height windows in the cottage.

No dogs or animals are allowed into the cottage as some of my guests have allergies.

THE ART STUDIO
Wheelchair access is provided to the studio by way of a small ramp 6” in rise.
There is a wide vehicular access to the studio door and plenty of parking on site.

I live on the premises and will be happy to help with any special requirements wherever I can. Please do ask!
